Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
Improving the provider's diagnostic skills, SFMA is intended to pinpoint the exact cause of a player's musculoskeletal dysfunction and then progress them through injury rehabilitation and proper motor control restoration. "The SFMA is our clinical assessment for those who experience pain. It is a movement based diagnostic system which systematically finds the cause of pain - not just the source - by logically breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns in a structured, repeatable assessment. We are the first organized system that takes into account altered motor control – the inability to coordinate proper movements. This system allows us to identify the correct problems - mobility versus motor control – to best equip clinicians for a successful outcome."- functionalmovement.com

Anatomy Trains links the individual muscles into functional complexes, and helps athletes to resolve complex postural and movement patterns - the interplay of movement and stability. Training in these courses included powerful myofascial release techniques and in depth training of myofascial anatomy.
Led by Dr. Jeremy Steiner, Utilizing e-stim to modulate the nervous system; effectively using the latest evidence-based research to use specific frequencies and amplitudes, in a process that focuses on the release of neuro-peptides such as beta-endorphin, ACTH, nor-epinephrine, and serotonin. Adding this modality to the acupuncture in a research-supported modality which augments effectiveness
EXSTORE® Assessment System Functional Musculoskeletal Scans
Led by Dr. Anthony Lombardi of Ontario, advanced manual muscle release techniques focusing on myofascial tissue, sclerotomal structures, and on motor and sensory cutaneous nerves. Electro-stimulation is used in ways never seen before to restore motor inhibition caused by injury and pain, to immediately restore muscle function.
Led by Dr. Dan Wunderlich of New York, these strategies include functional assessments of joint, muscles, soft tissue, and the nervous system. Neurological mechanisms are used to create treatment strategies tailoring the use of multi-segmental electrical acupuncture, trigger point deactivation techniques, and corrective myofascial release techniques.
